Err, so do most (all?) traceroutes using the usual unix traceroute
command.  I think tixen's behind a firewall which doesn't give "port
unreachable" responses to UDP packets, so traceroutes using UDP will
never reach tixen.  This is another reason I like MTR - it uses ICMP
pings instead of UDP so it does reach tixen.
