God damn you guys keep changing your hostmask/IP address so it's
no wonder it keeps happening. Within the last two weeks, I've added *5*
session exceptions for you guys. Are you all living in some kind of
hippie commune or furry brothel over there or what? Nobody crams 10
people into one house except Mexicans and Puerto Ricans.
So far, it's been:
c-67-164-80-180.hsd1.ca.comcast.net
67.164.80.180
minkata.ksilebo.org
75.144.23.157
ksilebo.org
It appears that the current hostmask (ksilebo.org) was added by
Pippin, but it was set to not expire. When it expired, you all were
glined. Then it was added by Inaki, but it was also set to expire, so
it did, and you were glined. I just re-added it with no expiry. If it
changes again, you will be glined again when you exceed 4 connections
from the same IP. I'm not increasing the global limit as it rarely ever
gets reached except by clone bots. When it does get reached by
legitimate, separate people, I add an exception for it that doesn't
expire. If all of the server admins submit a vote to have the global
limit increased, I'll do it. I vote nay because the exceptions should
be a good enough compromise.
For documentation sake (since /quote operserv help exception
doesn't seem to be enough), to set one with no expiry, do this:
/quote operserv exception add +0 ksilebo.org 15 NAT household
That adds an exception for 15 instead of 4 that doesn't expire (+0).
