Actually the fact that it is using the actual IP addresses doesn't
have anything to do with the CGI:IRC client. If you look in the
Documentation for UnrealIRCd there is a newer feature in the configuration
file called a Cgiirc Block. What it does is use host spoofing for CGI:IRC
clients that you insert in the block. So you would see the actual users IP.
(Example: If I connected it would say
KojakWolf!www-data at 27-117-47-127-cpe.cableone.net), without this feature it
would just say (KojakWolf!www-data at anthrochat.net) .

I suppose this could be configured on all the servers if we wanted
to. So we could just make snowleopard.anthrochat.net:80 go directly to the
CGI:IRC client on that server. But we would then have to configure these
blocks on all of our server's for it to work correctly.
