Hey guys,

Sorry it's taken me so long to send a message to the list about Tixen.  
I just had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out.  I'm heavily drugged on vicodin 
as I write this, so I might ramble a bit nonsensically. 

The server that hosted tixen.anthrochat.net has been shut down, as we're 
moving to a new data host.  The choice to move was sort-of made for us 
as a result of the previous data center's policies about worker's comp 
for all people with access and some other annoyances.

My servers were two virtual machines on an ESX server, which was hosted 
on a Sun V40z, with a large Netapp filer for storage.  The only problem 
with this arrangement is it took something like 6-8u of rack space, and 
a ridiculous amount of power to run.  As a result, the owners of the 
hardware have been hard pressed to find a reasonable alternative for 
colocation.

Inaki and I have broken away from this system and have moved to a 
managed server for the time being for the purposes of cutting back on 
expenses.   The host we've gone to for the time being is server beach- 
they have a clause in their terms of service that no IRC servers are to 
be allowed on their hardware for any reason.  We asked- this is non 
negotiable.

Since Anthrochat already has snowleopard in Los Angeles, I don't see how 
tixen would be a terribly valuable addition to the server list anyway, 
presently.

Inaki and I intend to put our money together (once we've taken care of 
some higher priority stuff) and will be building a powerful 2-3u server 
for the purposes of ESX server colocation.  When this happens, I'd 
potentially love to re-join the team.

TL;DR:  Could someone remove tixen from Nagios, plz? :3
