I have spoken to 2 admins (one Kojak and Pippin) regarding this issue and I would like to appeal to the adminship at large.  I understand it is policy to not interfere with the ongoings of individual chats here but I believe I have a situation which is ulterior to these rules and does indeed require moderator action.

There is a chat named #babyfur on anthrochat which shares a common channel name with other fur servers.  The two people whom I deal with, Kelp and OddTodd, have this chat for the sole purpose of insulting users who stumble upon this chat.  I have logs of my incident and Kelp is the chat owner.  The problem I have is the chat is disguised and setup to attract people whom are completely new to the server to grief them and insult them.  I have no problem with their right to grief and insult however I urge you to carefully read your mission statement which specifically notes: "For more persistent
nuisances, more detailed technical tools will be outlined and suggested."  I believe I have presented evidence that these characters would be deemed a persistent nuisance to the community.  ( I believe they are from 4chan for the sole purpose of griefing which is why they created a channel name that is common among various servers)  I certainly handled my own situation by ignoring them but think someone new to anthrochat like myself and that's their first experience with other "furs."  They did not initially have the option to know what the chat is about nor were they aware of their purpose.  I totally believe they have the right to say what they want but they are clearly using a ruse to lure people and that means everyone that ever comes into this server may technically be subject to their unwanted behavior.  This is how I define them to be in violation of the mission statement.

As far as punishment, they need not be banned and I not asking for serious reprimands.  I ask the channel be permanently flagged as private or the channel be flagged unownable or not usable unless you can find acceptable hands to run it.  (I would be willing to take over the channel if this decision follows)  Like I said, I have no problem with what they say but the channel name needs to be either changed or removed from public view in my opinion so only those that are interested in going there will go there.
