      It's probably best if you ask the founder of the channel and/or the
ops responsible for banning you for more clarification.  The admins of
the network have no influence on how individuals run their own channels.

      It doesn't appear that the channel is very well populated at the
moment and Anaria is the only one there.  The channel is also
unregistered, so by default, Anaria is considered the current founder
since he/she/it has op status.

      Quite possibly - if you want to interpret it that way.  However, if
you believe that the entire subculture is misrepresented by the
management of an obscure, one person channel on a mid-sized IRC network,
you are free to create your own, similarly themed/named channel and run
it in the way that you would consider to be more fitting to your ideals.
  In this way, you are able to take an active role in changing that
perception.
