     The spamfilter bans are specific to a series of characters that a
massive botnet was sending in channel messages.  There were about 27000
unique IP addresses that were detected/banned during that spam run.

     I'm curious to know what text you sent to a channel that triggered
the spamfilter.  It's possible that it was as simple as:

 /!\

     The rest of the filters involve a bunch of unicode stuff, but
that's not something very often sent by normal people in normal
conversations.

     At any rate, those bans only last 24 hours, so it should be
automatically lifted, by now.  I stopped adding IPs detected by that
spam filter to our RBL about a week before Christmas, so you should have
no problem connecting at this point.
