Welcome to the club. Werwolf is our little ball of negativity and
always has been (at least for the last 10 years I've been on Furry-ish
IRC networks).

Since AnthroChat utilizes hostmask encoding, unless you set
yourself mode -x, he shouldn't have had access to your IP address in
order to do anything to your firewall.

I think that, by this point, he's probably dealt death threats
toward everyone on this network. Of course, nothing ever comes of it.

Per AnthroChat's mission statement, IRC is an unmoderated
transport medium and the admins are not responsible for moderating any
content transmitted by our users to other users through our network.
It's up to the users themselves to moderate those transmissions using
the tools and commands provided by the clients and servers of the
network. The easiest, most effective, proper, and probably the only
real way to deal with this problem is to configure a /quote silence
+Werwolf in your client's list of commands which are executed upon
connecting to the network. /ignore is the client-side version of the
same command.
If you don't talk to Werwolf, he typically doesn't talk to you.
If you ignore him completely, he'll stop bugging you. You can either
ignore him using mental prowess or by using those technical tools that I
just described.
