Some channels are very insular. If you are not recognized or not
invited by anyone in particular, sometimes you could be banned for what
seems like no reason or for a silly reason. Most of those bans are
temporary, just to see how you react. There are 272 registered
channels. I doubt that they all would treat you the same way. If they
do, I suggest asking what you did "wrong" or start looking inward for
the problem.
That being said, the administration of the network, as a whole,
does not get involved with how channel owners and operators manage their
channels. If you don't like the way a channel is managed, you are free
to create your own channel and to invite your friends or other
like-minded individuals that you run across. Nickname and Channel
registrations are open to anyone on AnthroChat. If you would like help
with services (NickServ/ChanServ/MemoServ/BotServ), feel free to contact us.

I find it hard to believe that out of the 565 registered users, all
of them can be accurately be described in that manner. Since I almost
never ban anyone from any of the channels that I manage, even for
reasons that would normally get people banned, I can guarantee, with
absolute certainty, that your statement is incorrect.

That is certainly your choice to make. Nobody is holding a gun to
your head and telling you that you must chat on AnthroChat - or at least
I hope nobody is doing that. :)
