[AC-Admins] How do I register

I am interested in the site but I noticed that some channels require a registered nickname to join. I tried to register a name via the web link here http://chat.anthrochat.net/cgi-bin/cgiirc-0.5.10/irc.cgi
under the status window I have been able to bring up both a NickServ and a REGISTER window however I don't know which one I'm supposed to register a name under or what the proper message to type is. I've heard it's "/msg REGISTER password email" but that always results in a message saying "no such nick/channel". If you could please help clear this up as I'm sure it could be just a simple mistake. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
