      NickServ is definitely the name of the registration services bot
that handles nickname registrations (as is described on the main page of
our web site:  http://anthrochat.net/  in the sections labeled "What are
IRC Services/Registration bots?" and "How do I register my nickname?")

      If you've sent a message to someone named "register" with your
password in it, I suggest changing your password not only here, but
anywhere else you might use that same password.

      It's: /msg nickserv register thepasswordyouwant youremailaddress

      That's because there's nobody named "register" on the network.  You
need to send the message to a bot called "nickserv".  There's no bot
called "register".

      Didn't you send a message to this mailing list about having used a
bad password, back on May 28th?  I responded to that, using MemoServ, as
well as by e-mail on June 2nd.  Did you receive either of those
messages?  Are you still using the nickname "CrisisWolf"?  It appears
that you were able to successfully register and log into that nickname.
